Lillehammer Triple

“Lillehammer Triple” opened the 2017-2018 Ski Jumping World Cup season. The mini-tournament consisted of three individual events, two on the normal hill -HS98- and the third one on the large hill, Lysgardsbakken, HS140.

The Olympic Flame

The first event on the normal hill was won by the norwegian Maren Lundby after two great jumps. She therefore took the lead in the individual World Cup Ladies Leaderboard. The germans Katharina Althaus and Carina Vogt –the 2014 Olympic Gold Medalist- were on the event’s podium.

Maren Lundby: “It feels great to start a season with a victory, especially here in Lillehammer where I train. I jumped well although there are some things I need to improve. I want to focus on jumping well and on my technique this weekend.“
